Lamaaj, a blend of ﻟَﻤَﻊَ (lama'a) Arabic verb meaning “to shine”, “to sparkle” or “to glisten” and أمواج (Amwāj) meaning waves, ripples, or undulation motion. The name evokes a sense of shining waves, symbolizing both elegance and the beauty of the sea.

A female-founded, female led brand, established in 2025, we’re driven by quiet design with lasting impact. Our signature laser-cut detailing, discreet pockets, French seams and refined approach to functionality, speak to our commitment to thoughtful, considered design.

Each piece is designed in-house at our studio in Dubai and crafted on location, using breathable, Italian fabric with a buttery soft feel. Considered and intentional design for multigenerational women, of diverse global communities.

We're embracing a slow fashion philosophy with small production runs and sustainably minded limited drops, to minimize waste and maintain our focus on quality. Creating from sustainably sourced materials and high-quality fabrics, each piece is made to last.
